With obedience Pätkis is very active right away. She executes moves and actions fast and strongly. She is at her best when she can go fast. Heelwork is not our strenght, but that is all my fault. Most of the work I needed to do with her when she was younger was with other dogs and humans, because she would have liked to jump in everyones face. But she is fast learner and quickly became very sure and realiable in every situation. Nowadays she is my trusty friend.

Pätkis started tracking when she was 7 months and first she had i bit high nose but we worked on that and got the nose down. We have traveled a quite of an journey with our tracking career especially because Pätkis is my first tracking dog and she has had to experience my  beginners mistakes and incompetence. Even then she has grown to be an amazing tracker and has succeeded in exams. 

We also do bikejoring and skiing together. We do this for fun and no plans for competing. Pätkis likes to pull and that she gets to go fast!

Hearding she tried when she was 10 months and back then got good feedback. Later she performed hearding instinct test with a grade good. Hearding is not our sport but we have tried it anyway.

Pätkis also does water rescue. I hope we can start our exams in 2025 summer. First Pätkis did not know how to swim, but learned finally after using life jacket for couple of years. For a small kelpie she has a lot of strenght and most importantly is willpower.
